Tess is a Singer-Songwriter from Newquay, Cornwall. Her music blends a stripped-back acoustic style with a modern pop edge, creating a sound that’s both relatable and atmospheric. With delicate melodies and honest reflective lyrics, Tess explores themes of loss, love and vulnerability.
Her latest single ‘bad dreams’ is a perfect example - a hauntingly beautiful track that combines rich imagery with strong hooks leaving a quiet, lasting impact.
Having released two EPs and a single from the young age of 13 Tess has been featured many times on BBC Introducing Radio Cornwall, which led onto her performing at various festivals on the BBC Introducing stages.
Over the past few years Tess has been gigging regularly in and around Cornwall at local venues such as Lusty Glaze Sundowner Sessions, Driftwood Spars St. Agnes, The Colonial Tolcarne, Jacksons Wine Bar, and various food festivals/music festivals - such as Tunes In The Park and The Wild Gardens of Port Elliot.
